The mission of the Western Region of the Shingo Prize is to promote and recognize world-class management and manufacturing practices. The Western Region of the Shingo Prize does not receive governmental or consulting company support as a financial base. Rather, the Prize relies on application fees, conference and workshop revenue and corporate donations to support the program of advancing the principles and practices of Lean manufacturing.
